Sunday's Crock Pot Roast

Nothing tasted better on a Sunday than pot roast. The aroma of the food can smelled outside the house and on fast Sunday, you had better be ready to eat as soon as you smell it! This recipe can be adapted easily to fee more mouths simply by adding more potatoes and carrots.




Ingredients

  • 1/4 c. water
  • 4 potatoes (quartered)
  • 1 onion (quartered)
  • 1 pkg. baby whole carrots (peeled)
  • 1 envelope Dry Onion Soup divided
  • 1/4 t. pepper
  • 3 to 4 lbs. chuck pot roast (boneless)
Steps
  1. Put water and vegetables in crock pot
  2. Put Roast in crock pot.
  3. Pour dry soup mix and pepper over top.
Cook: Low 8 to 10 hours or High 5 to 7 hours
