
Ingredients
- 3 Tbs olive oil
- 1 lb. round chuck roast or round steak, cubed
- 1 onion chopped
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c beef broth
- 1 Tbs Worcester sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 pkg Onion Soup dry
- 1 sm. carton sour cream
- noodles or rice
- Trim excess fat from steak and cut steak into bite size pieces.
- Add to frying pan 3 Tbs olive oil, once hot cook beef to medium rare in small batches. Remove from pan.
- Add onion and mushrooms to the frying pan and cook until onion is soft.
- Add broth, mushroom soups and Onion soup and Worcester sauce to onions and mushroom. When this sauce is hot, add meat back to pan and simmer until meat is tender.
- Add sour cream and simmer 5 minutes.
- Serve over noodles or rice.
