Ingredients:
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large egg
1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large egg
1 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
Preheat oven to 370°F. Spray baking sheets with nonstick spray or use baking mats.
In a medium bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and salt.
In the bowl of an electric mixer (NOT A STAND UP MIXER) beat the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar just until combined. The key to this recipe is to NOT over beat it. Add the egg and vanilla, beating to combine but not over beating.
Gradually beat in the flour mixture. Stir in the chocolate chips. Roll into 1 1/2 tablespoon-sized balls and place onto prepared baking sheets.
