Homemade Suckers - Lollipops



1 1/4 c sugar
Scant 1/2 c karo syrup (white). Fill cup to 1 1/4 by adding water to syrup
pinch of salt if desired

Stir and heat to 280 degrees using candy thermometer
When it reaches 280, take off heat and add 1 tsp candy flavoring and few drops food color. Pour into molds which have been sprayed with Pam. Let harden.
