Nothin's Better than this Cake

As much as I love food, and I do love food, not many food items can make me think I died and have gone to heaven but this cake can do it. Oh the joy of chocolate on one's taste buds, rapture on a fork!
Ingredients
  • 1 Yellow or Chocolate cake mix
  • 1 small pkg chocolate pudding mix (dry)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 small bag of chocolate chips
  • 8 oz sour cream
  • 17 ounces caramel, butterscotch, or hot fudge topping
  • cool whip
  • 5 ounces toffee chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Steps

  1. Spray bundt pan with nonstick spray and preheat oven 350F.
  2. Mix together cake mix, dry pudding, sugar, oil, water and eggs until smooth.
  3. Add sour cream to mixture.
  4. Add chocolate chips by hand to mixture
  5. Pour into bundt pan
  6. Cook for 50-60 minutes, check to be sure cake is done in the middle with long skewer. This cake is rich and dense and may take 10 - 15 minutes longer than you think to be done.
  7. Let cake cool.
  8. To frost pour 1/2 c of the topping over cake so that it will dribble down the sides, top that with Cool Whip, then toffee chips and pecans.
Yeap, you will think you died and have gone to Heaven!
