This is Jen's recipe, but we love it and eat it often!
1 head lettuce, broken in pieces
1-4 green onions, chopped
1 can sliced water chestnuts
2 tbs. sesame seeds, roasted (350 degrees for 10 min)
Sliced or slivered almonds
½ package wonton skins (fry and crunch up in pieces)
2 Tbs. sugar
2 tsp. salt
¾ tsp. pepper
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. vinegar
1 tsp. sesame oil
Mix the dressing together. Toss all salad ingredients, adding the wonton skins just before serving.
